Email Sabrina:

Sabrina (she/her) began her career at the Colorado State Capitol, serving as a Legislative Aide to Senate Majority Caucus Leader Faith Winter. During her time with the legislature, she saw the significant impact state and local policies make on Coloradans’ lives and it inspired her commitment to engaging everyday Coloradans in the state legislative process. She began organizing on local and state campaigns where she was able to empower people to partake in the electoral process and learned the fundamentals of relationship building, community engagement, and grassroots organizing. Most recently, Sabrina took her community engagement and organizing skills to work with the University of Denver’s Midwest Advancement team, building and engaging the University of Denver network across Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan and Indiana.

During her time spent at the state Capitol and organizing communities, Sabrina saw firsthand how central health is to the issues Coloradans face. This makes her excited to join the Healthier Colorado team and advocate for the health of Coloradans and our environment. A lifelong resident of Colorado, Sabrina was raised in Broomfield and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Denver.
