Chris Simeone is a public affairs and policy leader with more than 15 years of experience across the corporate, nonprofit, and government sectors. Prior to joining Healthier Colorado, Chris led corporate reputation strategy for The Coca-Cola Company, using public opinion research and stakeholder insights to advise senior leaders on emerging issues and business decisions in the U.S. and Canada.  

Previously, Chris spent nearly a decade at BGR Group, a Washington, D.C.-based lobbying firm, advising clients on international affairs and trade issues. Chris got his start in politics as an aide to Rhode Island State Senator Dawson Hodgson.  

While in D.C., Chris helped found the State Society of Rhode Island, a nonprofit organization that connects Rhode Islanders in the area, and served as its Chairman for five years. Chris holds an MBA from the University of Maryland and bachelor’s degrees from the University of Connecticut. He lives in Denver with his wife, Kara, their son, and their two pups. They enjoy hiking and biking as far as their little toddler will go.
