Jason Castro (he/him) joined the Healthier Colorado family in February 2024 as theSenior Director of Finance and Accounting, or Master of Coin if the title is too long for a
business card. He has been in accounting and finance for over 25 years and has worked in several industries including construction, aviation maintenance, software development and general accounting consulting.

Despite working in a variety fields, the good work of the not-for-profit world has always seemed to call him back. Jason has spent over half of his career in the non-for-profit
space, specifically relating to health-related organizations. His resume includes work with Donor Alliance, Denver Health and National Jewish.He is excited for this new challenge in the public health policy and advocacy space.

Jason has earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Regis University, a Maters in Professional Accounting from Colorado State University and is a licensed CPA
in the State of Colorado. He is born and raised in Colorado and still lives within 25 miles of his now not so small hometown of Erie. After the numbers have been crunched, he usually enjoys time off with his two dogs.
