Position: Support

Summary: This bill encourages private, public, and charter schools to develop a suicide prevention plan that includes:

1. Additional training for school staff;
2. Life skills and social and emotional training for students, integrated into the school’s current curriculum;
3. Peer education training programs;
4. Parent education about suicide.
