Adriana (she/her) believes that a child’s zip code shouldn’t determine whether they have the opportunity to live a healthy life. Raised by a family of healthcare providers, Adriana adopted these beliefs and built a career in public service. For the last decade she has worked in lockstep with national leaders to tackle the most pressing challenges of our time. Most recently, Adriana served as a key member of Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s Executive Team where she led massive cross-functional teams and drove the implementation of the Speaker’s leadership during three national election cycles and the COVID-19 pandemic. Adriana began her career in Washington D.C. working for a senior Member of Congress serving on the powerful Energy & Commerce Committee, including the Subcommittees on Health, Energy and Environment.

Aligned with Healthier Colorado’s mission to improve the health outcomes of Coloradans through effective public policy, Adriana has worked tirelessly throughout her career to push forward policies that create a level playing field so that people from all communities can succeed. As a collaborator, leader, and strategist, Adriana knows how to bring people together and how to develop real positive change. In her role as Executive Vice President, Adriana plans to connect the many puzzle pieces of public policy and create a master plan that prioritizes people over politics and will meet the needs of communities across Colorado.

Adriana holds a B.A. in Political Science from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. As a recovering Hill staffer and a Californian at heart, Adriana is embracing the beauty and culture Colorado offers and is enjoying making the Centennial State her home. When she isn’t working to make Colorado healthier, you can find her outside relishing in the Colorado sunshine or enjoying a pilates class with friends.
