Email Erika:

Erika (she/her) is the Director of Development at Healthier Colorado. She is a life-long advocate for human rights and feels fortunate to have always found a professional home in mission-driven organizations. As a development professional, Erika brings over two decades of experience securing funding and executing projects internationally as well as here in the US. Most recently, Erika was the development director for Project Worthmore in Aurora, where she secured funding and built a community to provide support for newcomers.

A child of refugees herself, Erika brings a multitude of perspectives to her work and finds the stories of those most affected by policy and government to be the most important voices to listen to and learn from. She engages this storytelling as the root of her fundraising work.

Erika graduated with a B.A. in French from the University of Colorado Denver and has a Master of Arts in French with a concentration on human rights in the French-speaking world from Hunter College. In her free time, Erika can be found in deep conversation with her two amazing young children, writing and reading novels and running.
