Email Megan:

Megan (she/her) serves as the Director of Healthy Air and Water Colorado (HAWC). After completing internships with the White House Council on Environmental Quality and the Center for Climate Change Communication during graduate school, Megan took on community organizing and project management roles that advocated for environmental and public health protections in Maryland and Colorado. Megan is passionate about advancing meaningful advocacy and equitable policy solutions to protect the health of Colorado communities from the growing impacts of climate change.

Megan earned Dual Master’s degrees in Global Environmental Policy and Natural Resources & Sustainable Development from American University in Washington, DC, and the United Nations University for Peace in Costa Rica, respectively. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Government & Politics from the University of Maryland, College Park.

In her free time, Megan enjoys being in nature – climbing, camping, hiking, painting, and more!
