Email Megan:

Megan (she/her) serves as the Advocacy Manager for Healthy Air and Water Colorado. After completing internships with the White House Council on Environmental Quality and the Center for Climate Change Communication during graduate school, Megan took on community organizing and project management roles that advocated for environmental and public health protections in Maryland and Colorado. Megan is excited to combine her advocacy, organizing, and policy backgrounds to help HAWC achieve wide-reaching campaign goals to protect Coloradans’ public health.

Megan earned Dual Master’s degrees in Global Environmental Policy and Natural Resources & Sustainable Development from American University in Washington, DC and the United Nations University for Peace in Costa Rica, respectively. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Government & Politics from the University of Maryland, College Park.

Four years into being a resident of Colorado, Megan is finally getting the hang of snowboarding, fly fishing, climbing, camping, and hiking– and is loving every minute of it! She also enjoys cooking, reading, and painting.
